A family had a rude awakening this morning when a tree fell on the corner of their home crashing down on the bedroom with them inside.

The Little Rock Fire Department responded to a home on Wilson Road in West Little Rock where they say soggy ground and an already weak tree from the Christmas Day snow and ice storm caused it to collapse on the home-bringing down power lines with it.

No one was seriously injured but one woman did go to the hospital just as a precaution
