Improvements to I-55 Bridge in West Memphis to Require Lane Closures

Crews performing deck patching on the Interstate 55 Bridge over the Mississippi River between West Memphis and Memphis will require a lane closure next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The concrete patching will require an alternating lane closure in the westbound lanes beginning Monday, Jan. 14 and continuing through Friday, Jan. 18.
The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
