Blood Donations Needed in South Arkansas

Blood donations are needed in South Arkansas.
That's why the Life Share Blood Center in El Dorado took its bus across the city Tuesday to encourage people to give.
Life Share Blood says there is a shortage of blood and reminds everyone that the process to donate blood is simple.
"Only thing we do is check your blood pressure and prick your finger and make sure your iron level is good and we go in from there," says Brittney Meadows with Life Share.
The bus started its journey in downtown and went to the Walgreens on West Avenue to seek more donations.
Blood drives are scheduled for more than a dozen cities throughout South Arkansas this month, click here to see the list for dates and times.
