A Lonoke County man is behind bars and accused of burglarizing cell phone stores in Arkansas and three neighboring states.

Michael Grand, 24, of Ward, is accused in a string of business break-ins that in the Natural State alone amounted to the thefts of smart phones and iPads valued at around 300-thousand dollars.

That's according to the Lonoke County Sheriff's Office (LCSO).

Grand's January 2nd arrest came after investigators from Oklahoma came to Lonoke County to talk to him about store break-ins in Sallisaw.

The LCSO says further investigation revealed Grand has also been connected to commercial burglaries and theft of property investigations in Texas and Louisiana.

The investigations in Arkansas include burglaries in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Cabot, Beebe, Stuttgart, Magnolia, and Lonoke, the LCSO says.
