Jeb Bush Coming to Arkansas to Rally School Choice Activists

"The big takeaway will be that we don't have to settle for the status quo, that as a state we can come together and rally around an issue that's not just imperative to our future and our children but our economic future as a state," said Laurie Lee, Executive Director of the Arkansas Reform Alliance.
Activists plan to push for more distance learning opportunities, changing the election schedule to have school board races decided the same day as the General Election, and to have an independent organization authorize the creation of charter schools, Lee said.
School Choice Week in Arkansas will kick off Jan. 28.
