Man Arrested in Ash Flat Shooting

Police responded to a car accident on Highway 62.

They found the driver of the vehicle dead.  

He had been shot in the head.

A passenger advised police two other people had been in the car at the time of the accident and left the scene.

An investigation led police to Christopher Bryant who was found in a nearby wooded area.

He was taken into custody and cis urrently being held in the Sharp County jail on first-degree murder charges.
