Royal Street in downtown Mobile Alabama was the scene for some impressive festivities Saturday night.

Mobile's Mardi Gras festival gets an early start on the calendar, and also historically predates the arguably more famous New Orleans version.

As a part of their weekend on the road, the Arkansas State University Red Wolves got to take a break from prepping for the GoDaddy.com Bowl to watch the parade.

The route took the fun conveniently near their hotel a little after 7:00 p.m. last night..
