Power Outage Leaving Some Drivers High & Dry

By:
Updated: December 28, 2012
The power outage is leaving some Little Rock motorists high and dry when it comes to getting gasoline.

Lucinda Daeuble has been out of power since Christmas Eve and her pick-up truck is running on fumes. Friday morning she pulled into the gas station on Markham where she always gets her fuel only to discover it's closed because it has no electricity.

"I'm getting upset...I'm on 'E'," she said.

The owners of the station say they are losing customers because of the power being out.

On top of that, the owners say they are losing money because the food they sell in the convenience store section is going bad.

KARK found another gas station without power along Cantrell Road. In total, of the 11 gas stations KARK checked on, two were without electricity.
