Update: Tens of Thousands Still Without Power

Entergy Reports 110,998 customers are without power power at this hour. The counties with the most outages tonight are Garland, with over 20,000, and Pulaski, with over 65,000 still in the dark.

Massive power outages continue to affect tens of thousands of people in Central Arkansas as crews continue their efforts to get electricity restored.The total at 111,727 without power in the entire state of Arkansas
Outages raning from 66,067 in Pulaski County, 20,788 in Garland County and 8,959 in Hot Spring County are still without power, according to Entergy's website.
Other utility companies are reporting widespread outages.
At least 20,000 households and businesses in the Benton area remain without electricity, according to a news release from First Electric Cooperative.
In North Little Rock, at least 600 are without power, according to that city's police department.
The winter storm that pounded the area starting Christmas Day with snow and freezing rain downed trees and power lines. The storm brought Little Rock and other surrounding cities to a virtual halt with streets, roads and highways under several inches of snow and ice.
