After telling customers in a news conference Wednesday that it could take a week to restore power to Little Rock, Entergy announced early Thursday that customers should be prepared for even longer.

Entergy sent the following tweet, "PULASKI CTY CUSTOMERS: Crews are working in areas with extensive damage. Prepare for 7 or more days without power. More help is on the way."

As of 9:30 a.m., about 75,000 customers in Pulaski County were without power. Around 5:00 a.m. Thursday that figure was closer to 69,000.
