Customers at North Little Rock's Home Depot loaded up on rock salt, kerosene, and heaters to hold themselves over during the winter weather.
But the item in highest demand was generators. This location sold out within two hours of opening the store on Wednesday.
"Most people don't plan around August for this kind of thing, and it just kind of sneaks up on them and there you have it," said store associate Eric Pieper.
Home Depot on McCain does expect another shipment of generators sometime Thursday, but arrivel times depend on traffic conditions for delivery trucks.
