In one respect, the Little Rock 8th-grade girl got her wish fulfilled, at least for a few hours at one Salvation Army shelter where she and her mother volunteered to serve the hungry and the homeless.
"I know there are so many people that are needy, that are hungry, that want that special little touch, that little care for someone," says Felicia Williams.
This marks the second year the mother-daughter team volunteered at the shelter to serve holiday meals.
