Models Predicting Heavy Snowfall for Parts Central Arkansas

Though it's still too early to definitely predict how many inches of snow could fall in Little Rock, various forecasting models indicate you might want to have a snow shovel handy!

Over the next few days, the National Weather Service says heavy snow is expected from southwest through central and northeast Arkansas. This includes areas south of Danville, Clinton and Hardy -- and north of Brinkley, Pine Bluff and Arkadelphia.

Heavy snow is defined as 4 inches or more in 12 hours or 6 inches or more in 24 hours.

Models had Little Rock receiving anywhere from 3 to 8 inches of snow through Wednesday evening.
