Second Walmart to Open in Springdale, Create 300 Jobs

Walmart has announced plans to build a second supercenter in Springdale.
The 180-thousand square foot store will be located just off Interstate 540 at 4976 Elm Springs Road and will create an estimated 300 jobs.
Construction will begin in 2013, with the new store expected to open in the fall of 2014.
On Thursday, a spokesperson for the retail giant and Mayor Doug Sprouse will be on hand for a formal announcement at the site for the new store.
