Hot Springs Police arrested a man they say stole $400 in cash and $300 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets from the convenience store where he worked.

According to the arrest report, 22-year-old Deven Dickerson was spotted on store surveillance video putting money from the register into his pockets and stuffing the lottery tickets into the front of his pants.

The manager of the store told police she noticed the missing money while closing Dickerson's drawer following his shift. She then looked at the surveillance video, where she told police she saw him putting the money in his pocket during the night.

After noticing the missing lottery tickets, she went back to the video, where she told police she saw him take the book of tickets, activate them, then put them down the front of his pants, according to the report.

Dickerson is charged with four counts of lottery fraud and one count of theft of property less than $1,000.
