Working Parents and School Break

The Christmas break can be extremely exciting for children. But it's stressful for working parents, faced with no place to drop off the kids, while they head to the office.
However, Aristotle, an internet company in downtown Little Rock, allows children who are on school break or sick to come to work with their parents.
CEO Marla Johnson Norris says family comes first.
"Its very difficult to concentrate on your work, when you're worried about a sick child, or a child that can be at school that day, so anything we can do," she says.
Both moms say when school is out, it's a lot of pressure trying to find care.
It's helpful when you have some flexibility and can actually bring them with you to work," says Elizabeth Bowles.
Jennifer Pepper adds that her daughter was maybe 5 months old when she took her first nap in her office.
For these moms, knowing that their children have a place to go when school is not in session is priceless.
Aristotle is hoping more companies will jump on board and allow parents to bring their children to work in emergency situations, or on school breaks.
