Benton Police arrested two men on Sunday after catching one of them trying to rob a Walgreen's Pharmacy with a knife.

According to police, officers responded to the armed robbery call where the suspect jumped over the pharmacy counter with a knife just before 3:30 Sunday morning.

As the first responding officer arrived, he found 22-year-old James Miller (pictured, left) still in the store and tried to apprehend him. Miller ran out of the building before being caught by the officer a short distance away.

Further investigation determined that 26-year-old Christopher Ahrendt (pictured, right) was the driver of the getaway vehicle, and was arrested in Grant County.

Police say the duo were also responsible for a pharmacy burglary in Grant County, where an investigation is ongoing.

Miller is charged with aggravated robbery, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, unauthorized use of another person's property to facilitate a crime, theft of property, carrying a weapon and fleeing.

Ahrendt is charged with aggravated robbery, unauthorized use of another person's property to facilitate a crime, and theft of property.
