Temporary Lane Closures Coming to MLK Expressway in Hot Springs

Crews replacing overhead signs on the Martin Luther King Expressway (Highway 270) in Hot Springs will require intermittent nighttime lane closures next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The sign replacement, located just west of the Central Avenue interchange, will require alternating east and west bound lane closures for 10-minute intervals on Tuesday night, December 18th.
The ramp closures will be in effect between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
