Update (December 12, 10:45 a.m.)
Three Little Rock men are jailed on charges related to a Hillcrest home invasion last week.
Alexander Higgins, 22, Wilbert Champ, 23, and Luke Patton, 20, are charged with robbery, aggravated residential burglary and theft of property in a December 6 incident at a home on Oakwood Road.
The home invasion happened shortly after 10:30 that night in the 3800 block.
The woman who lived there told police she was in bed asleep when she heard a banging noise upstairs. She said that a black man armed with a sawed off shotgun came into her bedroom and demanded her jewelry, electronics, T.V., laptop and other items. She said that she could hear others in the house, upstairs, going through things.
Police say the men were developed as suspects in the case on Tuesday. Officers went to a home at 1500 South Buchanan Street and took Higgins into custody. Patton was arrested at 1015 Barber Street and Champ had already been in jail since December 8th on breaking or entering charges in another case. He is also charged with marijuana possession.
Higgins went to UAMS after the incident to get treatment for a cut finger, police say, adding that Champ confessed to being there and taking some of the items.
