According to Benton Police, an officer conducting business checks around 3:00 a.m. Sunday in the Browning Commercial Park went to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked behind Wholesale Electric Company that drove away as they approached.
Investigation determined that the car was reported stolen out of Saline County, and approximately $3,500 worth of copper had been stolen from the business, which was then returned to the owners.
Police were able to develop three suspects after further investigation: 30-year-old Brandon Richmond (pictured, left), 36-year-old Rhiannon Goshien (pictured, center) and 40-year-old David Rollans.
Richmond, a parolee on active supervision, and Rollans were arrested Tuesday and each charged with commercial burglary, theft of scrap metal, unauthorized use of another person's property to facilitate certain crimes, first-degree criminal mischief, theft by receiving and fleeing.
Police say Goshien, an accomplice in the crime, has been charged with commercial burglary and theft of property.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges could be forthcoming, according to police.
