Soldiers from around the nation will be training with the Arkansas National Guard's 233rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute (RTI) and will conduct mortar live fire exercises throughout the day.
They will start at 9:00 a.m. and finish by 4:00 p.m.
The exercises are taking place near Cato, south of Highway 89.
The Guard assures the public that there should be no cause for concern when the explosive sounds travel outside the walls of Camp Robinson.
The 233rd Regiment, Regional Training Institute trains soldiers from all 50 states and four U.S. territories through a variety of offered courses. Along with offering various artillery training courses, the RTI is home to both the largest Infantry school and the only signal school in the National Guard as a whole.
