Money Matters: Tips on Refinancing

As the end of the year approaches, many are thinking about tips to save a little extra crash.

Wendy Suares sat down with President and CEO of Bank of Little Rock Mortgage Scott McElmurry to talk about refinancing your home.

McElmurry says there are four main reasons to refinance your home: to lower your monthly payment, to get mortgage paid sooner and to build equity, convert to a different loan program, and to cash out a portion of the home's equity.
