Teen Faces Felony Theft Charges After Benton Burglary

A 19-year-old faces felony charges for a recent residential burglary.

According to Benton Police, 19-year-old Roderick Spears was arrested in connection to a burglary that occurred Nov. 30 on Windstone Drive, where approximately $1,300 worth of property was stolen.

Leads in the case allowed officers to obtain an arrest warrant for Spears, although police say more charges and arrests could be forthcoming.

Spears is charged with residential burglary and felony theft of property, and is currently in the Saline County Detention Facility awaiting a bond hearing.
