Energy is an important part of Arkansas' economy, and the question being asked on Friday: does the Natural State have a future in clean energy?
The Alternative Energy Commission was at the capitol on Thursday to discuss a report with Governor Mike Beebe.
The commission says now is the time to decide: do Arkansans want to continue to rely on traditional sources of energy or focus on renewables?
The report recommends the creation of a statewide energy plan and policies that will promote the development of clean energy.
