The Baxter County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the man who was found dead in his home off Highway 178 West.
BCSO says 20-year-old Roy Lee Hogans, of Strawberry was stabbed more than once.
The investigation into his death continues, as no arrests have been made yet.
Sheriff's officials say specialized equipment from the Arkansas State Police has been brought in to help analyze the blood spatter pattern at the crime scene.
Deputies believe Hogans had been in Baxter County for approximately two weeks.
A man found dead in Baxter County is believed to have been murdered.
That's according to the Baxter County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), which says the 20-year-old victim was found Wednesday night inside his home off Highway 178 West. The man's name is not yet being released.
Deputies were called to the scene shortly after 10:30 by paramedics.
The BCSO is not yet releasing how the man died and says while several people have been interviewed, so far there has been no arrest.
More than 10 BCSO investigators and deputies, in addition to Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division Special Agents, are working on the case.
The Sheriff's Office says more interviews are expected, as well as the serving of search warrants at three different homes.
