Capital Hotel Unveils Gingerbread Village

The Capital Hotel unveiled its Gingerbread Village Display on Monday.

Planned and put together by pastry chef Tandra Watkins, it has 100 handmade pine trees dotting a sugar coated winter wonderland scene filled with farms, snow forts and wildlife.

You can even sign up to take gingerbread house making classes at the hotel for $59 a person.

Gingerbread workshops with pastry chef Tandra Watkins are scheduled for the following dates:
  • Saturday, Dec. 8, 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, Dec. 9, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, Dec. 15, 4:00-7:00 p.m. (exclusive to adults including cocktails and bites)
  • Sunday, Dec. 16, 2:00-4:00 p.m.
