UALR Looks to Revitalize Area Surrounding Campus

UALR is working to make the area surrounding campus better for people who want to live there.
The University District's Development Corporation is working with the Federal Home Loan Bank to make homes near UALR more affordable.
It's part of a larger push to make the area safer and better for residents who live there.
"This to me is a part of helping make sure people have bootstraps up from which to pull, and not just say it and hope everybody gets along well and hope everything comes to fruition," said Sen. Joyce Elliott.
The revitalization push also aiming at improvements to infrastructure and other areas in the same part of town.
