Bridge Inspection on Highway 440 in North Little Rock to Require Lane Closure

Crews performing a routine bridge inspection on Highway 440, in the vicinity of Faulkner Lake Road in North Little Rock, will require lane closures this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The bridge inspection will require the northbound, outside lane of Highway 440 to be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 5. On Thursday, Dec. 6, the southbound, outside lane will be closed.

The lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day, weather permitting.     

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
