SUV Hits Man in Northwest Arkansas

The Lowell Police Department is investigating a Sunday night pedestrian accident.

It happened just after eight o'clock on Highway 71-B at the Apple Blossom intersection.

Lowell Police say a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Laura Santillan was heading north when Carl Faber tried crossing the highway.

Police say Santillan was unable to to avoid hitting Faber.

He was taken to Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. His condition is unknown.
