More high-paying, research-based jobs may soon be on their way to Arkansas.

Governor Mike Beebe unveiled a study by the Arkansas Research Alliance showcasing the boost in research efforts across the state.

The number of those jobs has grown dramatically since 2008.

Those workers typically earn more than $70,000 per year, and Beebe says jobs like this are exactly what Arkansas needs.

The Arkansas Research Alliance aims to create economic development through research.
