Man Leaving His Home Robbed and Shot on Little Rock's Baseline Road

A Little Rock man is recovering from a gunshot wound after a man tried to rob him as he left his home on Baseline Road.
It happened around six o'clock this morning in the 9700 block of Baseline.
Police say the 43-year-old victim told officers the suspect pointed a weapon at him and demanded money. While he was giving up his wallet, the victim said the suspect fired several rounds at him, striking him once in the right arm. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the suspect did not get anything of value from the victim.
The suspect is described as a black man, 6'0" tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a brown sweater with dark pants and had a mask over the lower portion of his face, according to police.
