Locally owned small businesses are seeing some Black Friday customers, but many of them are hoping the day dubbed "Small Business Saturday" will give them even more of a boost.

Owners say they may offer a smaller selection than big box retailers, but make up for it in service.

Richard Machycek, Owner of Arkansas Cycling and Fitness, says, "Bikes have a breaking-in period and they need adjustments. We work to keeping it working for you. Our sale gets you service afterwards."

Small Business Saturday is promoted by American Express. The Small Business Saturday website lists more than 100 locally-owned small businesses in just the city of Little Rock.
