The Bryant Police Department (BPD) is investigating after a car filled with teenagers crashes, killing one of them.

It happened around one o'clock this morning on North Lake Road, just off Springhill Road.

The BPD says there were five teenagers inside the vehicle, all aged 16 to 17.

The driver lost control of the vehicle, running off the road and into some trees, according to police, who say everyone inside was thrown out on impact.

At least three of the teens were hurt and were being treated at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock at last report. Their conditions are not yet known.

Police say the teen who died was one of the passengers.

No other details of the accident are being released, including names of the victims.
