The community is coming together to remember a little girl found dead in Bentonville Tuesday morning.

A prayer vigil was held in her honor at the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County Tuesday night.

About 100 people showed up Tuesday night to remember the six-year-old who liked purple, Justin Bieber, and being outside.

"She was just a bright six-year-old little girl," says Jennifer Rollins, the child's aunt.

In the midst of sadness, an aunt taking a moment to remember a life taken too soon.

"She's just a bright light. She took care of her little sister, she was just a light. She lit up a room everywhere she went," says Rollins.

And even though she's gone, lights were shining bright in her memory at the vigil.

"We have a memorial garden where there are several children who have died as a result of abuse," says Natalie Tibbs, with the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County.

The Advocacy Center added another statue in memory of the little girl during the vigil.

"She was really strong, she was extremely strong," says Rollins.

She just celebrated her sixth birthday this weekend.

"The young ones are supposed to bury the old ones this is not the right way," says Rollins.

A tragedy that Benton County advocates say they've never seen anything like.

"These are our children, this is our future no matter what we experience day to day our children should never have to suffer," says Tibbs.

The family is just asking for prayers as they walk through this difficult time.
