Texarkana Man Jailed after Hotel Robbery

Texarkana Police have arrested a suspect in the armed robbery of a hotel.

Brandon Frazier, 28, of Texarkana, was taken into custody Sunday for the Saturday morning holdup of the Economy Inn on State Line Avenue.

The hotel clerk told police the suspect walked into the business and demanded cash from the register. After getting an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect ran out the front door. Video evidence provided to officers showed the suspect to be about 5'9" tall and 200 pounds, with facial hair and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

On Sunday, police were called to a disturbance involving child custody issues at a home on East 50th Street. While investigating the incident, police learned of information that matched the suspect in the disturbance call to the suspect description in the hotel robbery.

That information led officers to Frazier, who was found at a home on Locust Street and arrested.

He's charged with aggravated robbery and interference with child custody.
