Maumelle High School students lost a lot of hair on Monday, all in support of a friend in need.

Chad Cox, the Maumelle baseball team's star closer, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, so his teammates, and even the coach showed their support by shaving their heads.

A small sacrifice to make for a dear friend.

"God gives his toughest battles to his toughest warriors," says teammate Mitchell Sparks. "He's obviously the strongest right now."

"I don't know what my shape is. It might be a little weird. I'm willing to make a sacrifice for Chad," said fellow teammate Jacob Hollingsworth.

Chad's teammates are also selling wrist bands and T-shirts to support his cause.
