Garland Co. Leash Ordinance 1 Step Closer to Becoming Law

A leash law ordinance written after several dog attacks in Garland County has been approved by the Public Health and Safety committee.
   
The ordinance will now head to the quorum court, where sponsor Justice of the Peace Mary Bournival expects it to be a tough sell.

The ordinance inched out of the committee with a 3-2 vote.
