Update (November 19):
Little Rock Police have identified a man shot on Saturday who later died in the hospital.

Davante Williams, 19, of Little Rock, suffered gunshot wounds to his upper body in an incident at 28th and Arch Streets.

Police say Theodore Davis, 26, also of Little Rock, faces a second degree murder charge in Williams' death.

Update (November 18):
A Little Rock teenager is in the hospital Sunday (11/18) night after he was shot in the head during what police are calling an accidental shooting.

Witnesses think it wasn't a mistake.

Police confirm that the victim was shot once but those who were around the shooting say they heard three shots and there's no way that happens on accident.

"It was three rapid shots," explained one person who lives in the neighborhood.

One of those three shots found a target.

Behind yellow police tape evidence markers littered the parking lot at the corner of Arch and 28th.

People from the neighborhood gathered, sharing what they saw, but in most cases only heard.

A 19 year old was apparently shot in the head and taken away in an ambulance.

The teenager's condition tonight is still unknown.

"That's a young life that may be snuffed out," said Joseph Hoison.

Hoison has a teenage child of his own. He heard the shooting from his front porch.

"I've lived in this neighborhood since 1961."

He watched on as the Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) Crime Scene Team documented what was left of what police called an accident. That's how the shooting was called in.

"We're not sure if this is going to be an accidental shooting or one with actual malice behind it," reported LRPD Public Information Officer, Cassandra Davis.

Until they can find information that leads them to believe it wasn't, police are calling this an accident.

While on their way to the scene, police received information on the location of one man involved who was apparently on the other end of the fired weapon.

Davis added, "There may be a possible suspect."

The folks who live around the area aren't buying the idea that three shots fired, one of them hitting a teenager in the head, was any kind of a mistake.

Hoison said, "Something needs to be done about this."

Original Story (November 18):
Little Rock police are working a shooting that took place Sunday afternoon, just before 4pm.

Police were on the scene, 28th and Arch, where witnesses say one person was transported in serious condition.

Another person has been questioned.

We will have more details as they become available.
