Update: Two Dead in Pine Bluff House Fire

Update (2:00 p.m.):
Two deaths are reported in a morning house fire in Pine Bluff.

The Pine Bluff Fire Department says an adult and a child died in the blaze at 5th Avenue & Poplar Street.

The identification of the victims is not yet complete.

There's also no word yet on what started the fire that destroyed the home.

Original Story (9:15 a.m.):
The Pine Bluff Fire Department is investigating after a house goes up in flames.

It happened around 7:30 at 5th Avenue and Poplar Street.

Photos from the scene show the house completely engulfed in flames shooting about 30 feet into the air.

It's not yet known if anyone was injured in the fire or how it started.

The address is in a neighborhood several blocks south of the Martha Mitchell Expressway.
