Man Accused of Injuring Conway Co. Sheriff Behind Bars

The man accused of injuring the Conway County Sheriff during a pursuit last month is now behind bars.
Jachup Spann was found hiding under a mattress at a home in Perry County.
Spann allegedly rammed Sheriff Mike Smith's truck as he was getting out, bruising the Sheriff's ribs and causing a sprained ankle.
Sheriff Smith is still sore, but doing better now.

He'll get probation ... and then he will get "lost" until the next time he screws up ... then he'll get a minimum sentence and an early release.
