Building Work to Require Lane Closure of Central Ave. in Hot Springs

Crews working for a construction company on improvements to a building adjacent to Central Avenue (Highway 7) in Hot Springs, will require a lane closure this week for placement of a crane in the roadway, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The crane work will require a lane closure on Central Avenue approximately one block north of Oaklawn Park, near the intersection with Trivista Circle.
The southbound, outside lane will be closed beginning Wednesday and continuing through Friday, Nov. 16.
The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
