Monday's edition of The List focuses on a college coach with a football pedigree who is on the rise.

Sonny Dykes has been the head coach at Louisiana Tech since 2010.

He's already led the Bulldogs to one Western Athletic Conference championship, and appears well on his way to another this year, as Louisiana Tech carries a 9-1 record this season.

La Tech is currently ranked 20th in the BCS standings.

Dykes, son of long-time Texas Tech football coach Spike Dykes, led the Bulldogs to an 8-5 record on their way to the Poinsettia Bowl, where they lost to the TCU Horned Frogs.

So should Sonny Dykes be at the top of The List?

To see what the panel has to say, watch the embedded video.
