There's more fun for everyone this year at the Arkansas State Fair and that's not just a slogan. There are several new rides for folks to choose from.
8 to be exact. We're all familiar with the Ferris Wheel and Pharoah's Fire, but how about the Landslide and the Circus Train.
Well, for some of the fair's younger enthusiasts --- it can't get much better than this.
"I don't think it was really fun because it goes too slow," explains fair goer, Markus Bracey.
OK, maybe the Landslide isn't everyone's favorite, but these ride critics have an idea to spice things up.
"If you would take a skateboard and went down it - it would be pretty fast," laughs Regon Jefferson.
Not too fast... some moms like the Landslide just fine.
"I do all the slides," laughers Chastity Reynolds who is enjoying fair with her family.
Before this mom has too much fun it's all aboard the circus train.
"I think its a great time for the kids to come out and enjoy the rides and all the fair has in store for the kids," adds Reynolds.
And for all you daredevils out there the sky is the limit and if you have the need for speed bring a babysitter and buckle up.
"Because our kids are so young we don't get to go on the adult rides, but one day when they're older we'll enjoy those as well," explains Reynolds.
But you don't have to wait a storm is already brewing at this year's state fair.
From the Swings to the Storm some adrenaline junkies are at a loss of words.
"It was pretty good. It's got some G's and your face was just - it was pretty good," sighs TJ Walker.
