Deer Hunters Pack a Popular Stop in Sheridan

It's the biggest time of year for deer hunters.

The season kicks off tomorrow with thousands flocking to the woods to wait for the bucks to arrive.

You know opening day is not far when you start to see all the 4-wheel drive trucks, pulling their 4-wheelers on the

One place that fills up quickly every year.

Is the Sinclair Convenience Store on Highway 167 south.

It's sort of a tradition for deer hunters.

They stop to gas up, pick up guns or ammunition if they need it and tag their deer.

Ben Nicholas said, "The Gibbs have everything that a hunter needs."

Raymond Derrick said, "Just everybody has always come here and show off their deer, it's probably 30 years worth of deer pictures, it's pretty neat."

300,000 hunters are expected to fill deer stands across the state!

Don't forget safety first and have a great time!

Deer season will last until about the end of December!
