Three-Day Used Book Sale at Downtown Little Rock Library

Updated: November 9, 2012
A three-day used book sale is underway at a downtown Little Rock library.

The Friends of Central Arkansas Libraries (FOCAL) sale is open to the public today and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

You'll find all the good deals in the basement of the Central Arkansas Library System's main library at 100 Rock Street in the River Market.

The shelves are filled with books of every genre, and the prices are just right for affordable holiday gifts: paperback books are $.50 and hardback books are $1.

The money raised from the book sale helps the Central Arkansas Library System provide programs at branches and book club kits, as well as Summer Reading Club and special Saturday programming for children at the Main Library.
