Some are calling this the Super Bowl of deer season.

Opening day is this Saturday, and duck season opens next weekend.

Arkansas Game and Fish held its "Ducks and Bucks" media day on Thursday, and say they estimate close to 300,000 deer hunters will be in the woods this weekend.

"We will harvest close to 30 to 35,000 deer in two days, so it's big," says Corey Gray with Arkansas Game and Fish. "It's big for the economy, it's big for us. We rely on hunters to manage our deer."

Arkansas Game and Fish's Luke Naylor says, "About 60,000 people every year hunt ducks in Arkansas, so it's a big deal just like it is for deer season."
