Timeline of the Patricia Guardado Murder Case:
- October 12, 2011 she is last seen by family leaving for class at UALR. She parks her car in a lot across from campus along South University Avenue.
- October 13, 2011 she is reported missing.
- October 16, 2011 a fisherman finds a woman's body in a pond off of the 77 hundred block of Highway 365 in Sweet Home, a small town south of Little Rock.
- October 17, 2011 Little Rock Police confirm the body found is Guardado. Rewards totaling $6,000 are offered for information in the case.
- October 18, 2011 a vigil for Guardado is held on the UALR campus.
- October 21, 2011 Funeral services are held for Guardado at St. Edward Catholic Church in Little Rock.
- October 28, 2011 A scholarship fund is named for Guardado, established by the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council 750 and UALR Council 756.
- May 6, 2012 A Cinco de Mayo festival in Little Rock raises money for the UALR Patricia Guardado Endowed Scholarship fund.
- October 18, 2012 A vigil is held at UALR marking one year since Guardado's death. Police say they have no suspects in the murder.
