Medical Marijuana Fails in Arkansas

The state statute sought to make medical use of marijuana legal under Arkansas law and establishing a system for the cultivation, acquisition and distribution of marijuana for qualifying patients through dispensaries.
Arkansas Family Council fought hard against the measure, while Arkansans for Compassionate Care supported the act.
Totals are 51-percent against and 49-percent for with 94-percent of precincts reporting.
