Try and imagine instead of the sprawling 20,000 square foot Clinton library, just an empty spot along the river.

Not just the library but much of Downtown Little Rock would look a lot different had Clinton never been elected.

Officials with the Downtown Little Rock Partnership told KARK it's hard to know exactly where the city would be, or look like, had Clinton never been elected.

But when you consider the library, the Clinton School of Public Policy and even the Bill and Hillary National Airport, it's easy to see his reach is wide-spread.

And they said it's not just Bill who has impacted Little Rock.

"Not only him," said Sharon Priest, "Now too, with hilary. She was first lady, then senator and now Secretary of State. So we're fortunate to have two rock stars we can call our own."

Hillary of course the sort of adopted daughter of Little Rock.

Many remember this time of year, the excitement 20 years ago as the Clinton's took the state of Arkansas and put it in the national spotlight.
