ramadan2007-10-04-1191540710.jpgA local family is celebrating Ramadan by lending a helping hand.
Ramadan is considered the blessed month of the Islamic year and that's why this family is helping the needy.
"It's a great feeling to be able to just walk out the front door and realize there's so many people in your neighborhood that are lacking food, and it's a blessing to be able to walk out the front door and feed them," says Clarshun Beyah.
Ramadan began September 13th and typically ends October 12 depending on the new moon.
